It has a head of an elephant

Not believable story

There was a reason for it

When you see an idol in a temple what do you do?

You look at the idol

You close your eyes

Imagine the idol

You pray to the idol

When you close your eyes, whom are you praying to?

Your mind has taken the shape of the idol

You are praying to your own mind

Vinayaka is not in the idol form

Focus on an imaginary object

You concentrate

Dharana

When you concentrate, you withdraw from senses

Prathyahara

Voluntary Withdrawal

Isn't it wonderful?

How else to teach withdrawal to children?

How to teach concentration to children?

Idol worship is man-made

To help children

To uninitiated adults

Faith is fundamental

Realisation follows understanding

Understanding follows faith

Faith is starting point

No need to be at the starting point always

Kindergarten is necessary

Don't keep reciting nursery rhymes all your life

You create your own as you progress

God is inside us

The other end of our mind is Almighty

God exists all around us

It is all peravasive, penetrative, surrounding pressure-force

It is Almighty in nature

It is force

It is consciousness

It exists everywhere

In all objects

In us
